We only have a few more musicians to announce so without further ado here are the next two!

First we have the Black Squirrels!

The Black Squirrels set their anchor in the traditional fiddle tunes of Irish, English, French Canadian, and American descent, and tilt their sails to a variety of whimsical influences. The repertoire includes both instrumental contra dance tunes (jigs, reels, waltzes, etc.) and songs performed in vocal harmony in classic string band style.

Their Lineup is –

Annabel Hine Otts, fiddle

Jonathan Watterson, flute, harmonica, penny whistle

Paul Morris, guitar

Michael Bullock, upright bass

For more information about the Black Squirrels please visit their website here. You can also find them on Facebook.

To wet your whistle here is a clip of the Black Squirrels performing Patsy Geary’s, Out on the Ocean, and Myra’s Jig, soaking wet, in Jamesville NY.

Our 6th act returning  to art on the porches this year are Reyna-Rose band!

Reyna Stagnaro (mandolin) and Eileen Rose (Appalachian dulcimer) create a fresh mountain sound with their unique blend of instruments and distinctive vocals  – a true Americana mix of original songs, traditional tunes, lovely instrumentals, and covers.

Their music has been played on WAER 88.3 ‘Common Threads’ and WCNY FM 91.3 ‘Bluegrass Ramble’.

They have a Facebook page so why not head on over and check them out but before you see them at this Years Art On The Porches here is a little clip of them rehearsing Louisiana Saturday Night song written by Bob McDill.
